STILLWATER – It’s Sunday after the completion of week 10 in the college football season and that means the polls, Associated Press and USA TODAY coaches polls were out. The truth is now those polls are inconsequential. That is, they don’t mean much at all. In fact, it was noticeable that there was some correcting or adjusting going on to move those polls closer to what the College Football Playoff Selection Committee came up with in their debut rankings laste schoo Tuesday.

I don't expect more. This is still a big school/political deal. IF we win out...beat OU twice, we have a slim chance. But slim. We're not UT or OU.

It is funny to remember back in 2011, after we curb stomped OU, that the computer rankings they used in the old BCS calculations had us ahead of Alabama for the number 2 spot but Alabama edged us out because of the Poll rankings. Notice now with the "Committee" Alabama who already lost to A&M and should have lost to LSU, always gets the benefit of the doubt and will probably be number 2 in the CFP rankings.
