Talyn Shettron Earning High Praise Amidst a Dominant All-American Game Week
While this week is a busy one for the Cowboys players and coaches as they prepare for the Fiesta Bowl, it is also a busy week for one of their future wideouts, Talyn Shettron.
Shettron is in Orlando, Florida, to participate in the Under Armour All American Game. Shettron is part of “Team Legends” as one of their top receivers. He has been going through practice this week as well as combine type drills and workouts preparing for the headliner game at Camping World Stadium on Sunday, January 2nd.
These types of events produce tons of social media buzz, especially among the top performers, which Shettron seems to be right now, which should come as no surprise to Oklahoma State or Edmond Santa Fe fans.
Charles Power of On3Sports tweeted out a video of Talyn running a crisp route leading to a touchdown catch against elite Alabama cornerback signee Trequon Fegans.
Shettron has also been named to several publications’ “Top Performers” list throughout the week.
Jeremy Crabtree, who is the Senior Recruiting Editor for On3, gave a quote saying “Oklahoma State wide receiver signee Talyn Shettron had a strong outing during 7-on-7 drills for Team Legends. At one point the DBs on the sidelines all agreed that “he can’t be covered” and “that dude is good.”
Being unable to cover Talyn Shettron has been a common theme amongst his opponents, no matter whether in Oklahoma Preps or All-American matchups.
