STILLWATER – Oklahoma State head coach Mike Boynton met with the media ahead of the Pokes' showdown with Texas on Saturday.
The Cowboys are fresh off a 74-63 loss to No. 6 Kansas earlier this week, which kicked off Big 12 play. As for No. 14 Texas, the Horns are 12-2 overall on the season and are currently 2-0 in Big 12 play, having beaten West Virginia (74-59) and Kansas State (70-57).
Coach Boynton talked about the Pokes’ shooting woes, where they are on the road back from three weeks off due to a COVID outbreak, broke down the matchup against the Longhorns, as well as just what senior Isaac Likekele means to this team.
Tipoff against Texas in Stillwater is scheduled for 1 p.m. CT on CBS with Bill Raftery and Brad Nessler on the call. The Longhorns currently own a 54-46 all-time record against the Cowboys, but OSU is 25-15 against the Longhorns in Stillwater.
