It was a rough night at the office for Oklahoma State as they lose to West Virginia by double digits, 70-60.
With the loss, the Cowboys fall to 8-6 overall on the season and 1-2 in Big 12 play.

It was a rough start from the field for the Pokes in the first half as they had multiple three-plus minute scoring droughts, as well as a two-minute scoring drought. They started the game with two turnovers in the first two minutes, but Bryce Williams got the Pokes on the board first with five quick points. However, those would be his only points of the half.
They’d go into the half trailing, 34-23, their second-lowest scoring half of the season, as they scored just 22 points in the first half against Oakland earlier this season.
Moussa Cisse started the second half for the Pokes with a dunk out of the break, followed by two quick buckets by Isaac Likekele and a three-pointer from Keylan Boone. However, the Mountaineers had an answer for each of those buckets as they kept their 11-point lead, 43-32, going into the under 16 media timeout.
The Mountaineers kept their foot on the gas as they extended their lead to tie their largest of the game at the time, 16 points, 53-37 with just under 11 minutes left in the game. Likekele and Bryce Williams hit two quick buckets in transition, a contested layup for Likekele and wide-open corner three by Williams to cut the deficit back down to 11 points.
It was a (9-0) run by the Pokes following two more buckets by Likekele, coupled with a four-minute scoring drought by the Mountaineers by the time the under-eight media time rolled around, with the Pokes within just seven points, 53-46 with 7:37 remaining in the game.
The Mountaineers went more than six minutes without a field goal, but it came on an alley-oop from Gabe Osabuohien, putting WVU back up 11, 58-47.
Mountaineer Gabe Osabuohien had a career game against the Pokes as he posted a career-high 12 points. Jalen Bridges also tied a career-high with 22 points.
After a rather quick 11-1 run, the Mountaineers shifted the momentum and extended their lead back up to nearly 20 points, 64-47.
It was much of the same the final few minutes of the game as the Mountaineers kept their lead in double figures as they hold on for a 70-60 win.
