Watch: Mike Boynton Discusses Florida Loss and Rest of the Season
STILLWATER – It’s been a tough few weeks for the Oklahoma State men’s basketball team, especially following the 81-72 loss to Florida on Saturday. At one point, the Cowboys held a 16-point lead, 32-16, before allowing the Gators back into the game in the second half.
Head coach Mike Boynton met with the media on Monday morning following the trip to discuss the loss to the Gators, which Boynton attributed to selfish basketball in the second half, with just one team assist, compared to nine in the first half as a main point.
The Cowboys moved to 10-10 on the season and will be looking to end a three-game losing streak on the road against an equally struggling Kansas State team. Following the breakdown of the Florida loss, Boynton took a quick look ahead at the Wildcats and what it’s going to take to win in Manhattan.
