Oklahoma State Has Three Players Invited to NFL Combine
STILLWATER – After a great 2021 season, Oklahoma State has three players who were invited to the 2022 NFL Combine in Indianapolis, IN. Pokes Report confirmed on Tuesday about linebacker Malcolm Rodriguez getting an invite. He’ll be joined by running back Jaylen Warren and safety Kolby Harvell-Peel.
The Combine takes place at Lucas Oil Stadium from March 1 through March 7.
This is a huge honor for these Cowboys following a stellar season for each of them. The senior linebacker out of Wagoner, OK picked up multiple All-America honors, including the Football Writers Association of America, following one of the best defensive seasons in program history. He was also tabbed First Team All-Big 12 by both the league’s coaches and the Associated Press, marking his third-straight season earning All-Big 12 honors, but his first earning First Team honors.
He was also named to the AP All-Bowl Team following his performance against Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl. He recorded 11 tackles and an interception against the Fighting Irish, which led to him being named the defensive MVP of the game.
As for Harvell-Peel, he earned First Team All-Big 12 status from both the league’s coaches, as well as the Associated Press. He was also tabbed a Third Team All-American by the AP as well.
Warren had a breakout season his first and only year in Stillwater. He carried the ball 256 times for 1,216 yards and 11 touchdowns and hauled in 25 receptions for 225 yards. Following the regular season, Warren was tabbed the Big 12 Offensive Newcomer of the Year and was an honorable mention for Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year.
