Could NFL Cowboys and College Cowboys Be Bonding Again?
STILLWATER – First, there was Walt Garrison. The Oklahoma State fullback from Lewisville, Texas that became an All-Big Eight player and helped the Cowboys to back-to-back wins in 1965 and 1966 over rival Oklahoma took a Pontiac convertible and a horse trailer as a signing bonus. Garrison went on to run for 3,886-yards and 30 touchdowns and caught 182 passes for 1,794-yards and nine touchdowns.
