STILLWATER – Oklahoma State has extended numerous offers in the 2024 class over the past week, with one of the latest going to rising 2024 corner, Willie Nelson.
No, not that Willie Nelson.
Nelson is listed at 5-10, 176-pounds and is out of Longview (TX) High School. He’s not currently listed in the 2024 class rankings, but I don’t think that will last very long. Just within the past two weeks, Nelson has received three of his five current offers: Oklahoma State, SMU and Oklahoma, to go along with Incarnate Word and UTSA.

Nelson’s sophomore season was quite productive as he recorded 76 total tackles, eight intercpetions and seven pass breakups, with two of his interceptions being returned for touchdowns.
With that type of production as a sophomore, paired with the fact he’s received three P5 offers within the past few weeks, it’s obvious Nelson’s recruitment is fixing to go big-time.
