Natasha Mack Named Big 12 Player of the Week

IRVING, Texas – Oklahoma State's Natasha Mack was named the Big 12 Player of the Week on Monday it was announced by the league office.

The senior scored a career-high 31 points and pulled 14 rebounds to tally her third double-double of the season in OSU's win at North Texas on Dec. 22. Mack had three assists and two blocks in the win as well.

Against the Mean Green, Mack knocked down a career-best 15 field goals on 24 attempts, marking the fourth time this season she has connected on at least 63 percent of her shots from the floor. The Lufkin, Texas native made six of her eight attempts from the floor en route to a 13-point fourth quarter to propel OSU to its second road win of the year.

The weekly honor was the first of the season for Mack and the second of her career. It also marks the second time this season a Cowgirl has been honored with Lexy Keys picking up the league's freshman of the week distinction on Dec. 21.

Mack was honored by College Sports Madness on Monday as its Big 12 Player of the Week as well.
