Oklahoma State to Face Ole Miss in 2022 Big 12/SEC Challenge

STILLWATER – Another non-conference game is on the schedule for Oklahoma State Cowboy basketball in the 2022-23 season as Ole Miss is coming to town for the latest installment Big 12/SEC Challenge.

The Pokes are set to host the Rebels on January 28, 2023. It will be televised/streamed on the ESPN network of families, with the exact channel and time yet to be announced.

The Cowboys are 6-3 all-time in Big 12/SEC Challenge games, going 4-0 in games played in Stillwater.

Mike Boynton and Co. return a handful of players from last year’s squad, including third-team All-Big 12 point guard Avery Anderson III, shooting guard Bryce Thompson and Co-Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year, Moussa Cisse.

Anderson III led the team in scoring this past season, averaging 12.1 points on 40% shooting from the field, 3.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists per contest. He was also first on the team in steals with 53.

Thompson was second on the team in scoring as he posted 10.6 points on 41% shooting from the field. He also recorded 2.6 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game.

As for Cisse, he was dominant down low for the Pokes as he averaged 7.2 points and 6.5 rebounds per game, while recording a Big 12-leading 54 blocks on the season. He became just the second OSU player to be named a Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year, joining Marcus Dove, while also becoming just the second player since 2015 to earn a spot on the All-Conference defensive team.

what the heck Zack, we know about our team and returning players, couldn't you have written something about their team.... I don't think I know anything about them..... good, bad or indifferent.

who is their coach, how did they do last year, who is returning or incoming? etc., etc..
