STILLWATER – Oklahoma State is set to host another official visitor, this time of the seven-foot variety. According to a report from Andrew Slater of The Athletic, Mike Boynton and Co. will be hosting top-25 center, Ugonna Kingsley Onyenso., June 29-July 1.

Kingsley is a 7-0, 200-pound center out of Putnam (CT) Science Academy in the 2023 class. According to the 247Sports composite rankings, Kingsley is the No. 23 overall prospect in the country, the No. 4 overall center and the No. 1 prospect out of Connecticut.

Through this point in his recruiting process, Kingsley’s received 16 offers, including Georgetown, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Memphis, OU, Syracuse and Texas Tech among others.

While he can score around the rim, Kinglsey is still a bit raw on the offensive side of things. However, it’s his rim protecting abilities that’s drawing coaches to him. He’s proven to be one of the better shot blockers in the 2023 class.

He was also one of 120 participants in the 2022 Pangos All-American Camp in early June.

Shot blocking is something Boynton and Co. have brought to Stillwater in recent classes. While he left Stillwater after a few season, Yor Anei led the Big 12 in blocks. As did both Kalib Boone and Moussa Cisse, with Cisse being named Big 12 Co-Defensive Player of the Year, both of which return for the upcoming season.
