With the bombshell news dropping on Thursday of USC and UCLA pursuing membership in the Big Ten, the landscape of college football is sure to change in the near future. Now, whether that’s at the end of the 2023 season when the Pac-12’s grant of rights is up, or earlier, is yet to be seen, but change is most assuredly on the way.

So, with OU and Texas headed to the SEC and UCLA and USC supposedly on the way to the Big Ten, that puts both of those conferences at 16 teams.
