RA, since Blake Jarwin graduated the problem with the CW stressing the D is that they know what type of play we were going to run based on the CW that lined up. Did a receiver line up or was it a blocker. The two thumpers that you talked about are blockers. Based on McEndoo's comments, only Green is a big receiving threat but also blocks well. If true, the D can't read the O based on him.

Will the Cowboy Back be Different in 2022? McEndoo Presents New Emphasis
STILLWATER – There have been times where I have been very hard on the Cowboy backs. I think everybody looks at that multi-position, and that is what is, differently. I tend to be more blue collar and physical about my football, so I lament when I see a missed block that could either have sprung a back or receiver for a lot more yards or kept a quarterback on his feet to complete a play. That can be the difference in scoring or not.
