Oklahoma State Lands Combo Guard Jamyron Keller
STILLWATER – Mike Boynton and Co. have added another commitment to Oklahoma State’s 2023 recruiting class.
Jamyron Keller, a 6-1, 190-pound combo guard out of Ellison in Killeen, TX, took to Instagram Live to announce his commitment to the Pokes.
He chose the Cowboys over Kansas State, Oral Roberts, Saint Louis, Stephen F. Austin, TCU, Texas and VCU.
Keller is a three-star prospect and currently ranked as the No. 159 overall recruit in the country, the No. 25 overall combo guard and the No. 18 overall prospect out of Texas, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
Boynton and Co. extended an offer to Keller in mid-June of this year after a really solid AAU circuity this spring and early summer. Keller was one of the top players for Drive Nation on the EYBL circuit and turned in several great performances this spring/summer.
Keller was instrumental in Drive Nation going 7-0 and winning the Peach Invitational, an event in which he averaged 15.1 points on 53% shooting from the field, 4.4 rebounds and four assists per game, while also shooting 34% from beyond the 3-point line.
The Cowboys currently have one commitment in the 2023 class, four-star forward Brandon Garrison out of Del City, OK. Garrison is currently just a few ticks away from being a five-star prospects as he checks in as the No. 52 overall prospect in the 2023 class.
