Five Oklahoma State Rookies Made NFL 53-Man Rosters

STILLWATER – Cut day in the NFL is both a joyful and stressful time for a good number of players trying to make a roster or practice squad. Well, there is a number of former Oklahoma State football players who made the 53-man roster for their respective teams, including five players from this year’s rookie class.

The linebacker duo of Malcolm Rodriguez (Detroit) and Devin Harper (Dallas), running back Jaylen Warren (Pittsburgh), cornerback Christian Holmes (Washington) and offensive lineman Josh Sills (Philadelphia) all made a 53-man roster.

Both Harper and Rodriguez were drafted in the sixth round, Malcolm with the No. 188th overall and Harper with 193rd, with Holmes being selected with the 240th overall pick in the seventh round.

Both Sills and Warren went undrafted.

There are still a lot of roster moves to be made in the coming days, including practice squad announcements. So, this article will be updated as moves are made official.
