Big 12 Power Poll Heading to Conference Play, Beware of the Jayhawks

STILLWATER – There are just two more non conference games left to be played as unbeaten Kansas will host unbeaten Duke at 11 a.m. on Saturday with Kansas fans looking to pack the Booth as in Booth Memorial Stadium. The other non conference game is on Thursday when West Virginia tries to ge back to even (.500) on the road at Virginia Tech. 

Other than that it is conference play from here on out.

A little off topic, but not sure how good the B12 is. Not one single quality OOC win by the entire league. And really no hope any of the OOC opponents turn it around and post a decent record. Gonna hurt come CFP ranking time.

Gumby, another way to look at it from the CFP voting room is if Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and let's say Texas truly are the cream of the conference, they should all run the table from here on out, except for those games they play against each other and the conference championship game. I have to believe a one-loss Big 12 Champion is a shoo-in for the final four. On the other hand, Texas has to run the table all the way through the championship, and neither uO nor oSu can lose to anyone other than each other. The Big 12 will get bonus points for playing nine conference games against the SEC's eight, so there is that.
