STILLWATER – The television and tipoff details for Oklahoma State’s Big 12/SEC Challenge game against Ole Miss have been set.

The Cowboys will host the Rebels for a 7 p.m. tip in Gallagher-Iba Arena on Saturday, Jan. 28, which will be aired on ESPN2.

Here’s the details for the full slate of Big 12/SEC Challenge games.

These two teams last met in the NIT Season Tip-Off championship game back in Nov. 2019, a game in which the Pokes destroyed Ole Miss, 78-37. This was prior to the transfer of Bryce Williams to Oklahoma State.

Cam McGriff led the way in scoring for the Pokes with 15, but there were three other Cowboys who also scored in double digits: Lindy Waters III and Yor Anei each scored 14 points and Thomas Dziagwa had 11.

The Cowboys are coming off a 15-15 overall record this past season, 8-10 in conference play. Mike Boynton and Co. return a bevy of talent on this year’s roster, which is led by Avery Anderson III, Bryce Thompson and the Big 12 Co-Defensive Player of the Year, Moussa Cisse.

Anderson III averaged 12.1 points a game in 2021-22, while Thompson was second on the stat sheet with 10.6 points per game. As for Cisse, he posted 7.2 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.86 blocks per game, while leading the Big 12 in blocks.
