I really like what this kid has to say. In fact, I am thoroughly impressed with all the incoming early enrollees. I am looking forward very much to watching each of them develop and become great students and athletes.

Glad to see us add two seemingly very good DE and edge rusher players with Latu and him. We should be fairly deep and loaded at that position, even with losing a couple guys from last year. On top of these additions, we'll have Trace Ford, Tyren Irby, Isreal Hundley, Tyler Lacy, Brock Martin, Kody Walterscheid just to mane some of them!

Not only is this year's class of enrollees bigger than previous classes, it's chocked full of some of the best players in the class. It's not very often both of those facts line up with each other.

can you explain that? Why do we have more early enrollees? I thought there were limits, or was the limit the availability of the 85 ship limit, and now we're not bound by that?

So early enrollment isn't bound by scholarship limits because the guys have already signed and taken up a scholarship. The only limit on early enrollment is whether or not the school the player is coming from allows early graduation. Technically, an entire signing class could show up in Jan. if the high school allows early graduation or if a transfer/JUCO player has qualified/graduated.
