Richardson was Unsung, Johnson Broke Through, Presley Came Back, and Green had Game Winner

STILLWATER – Take your pick, Oklahoma State Cowboys quarterback Spencer Sanders certainly did throughout the afternoon in guiding his offense to a comeback win over No. 20 Texas. Sanders, as always, had some clutch runs and his toughness in fighting through some season aches and pains was impressive. For Sanders it was his 12th win as a starting quarterback over an Associated Press Top 25 team. Only Sanders and former LSU quarterback Joe Burrow have accomplished that feat.

Now if we had any sort of Oline this would be a good team. Can we please bench Richardson. He ain't it. Nixon has another gear and provided a much needed spark. He and Ollie are much better all around backs. Richardson is the hammer.

When did you start attending practice and making player decisions? Last I checked you aren't on the coaching list and your opinions don't matter.

great article Robert...

the QB and receivers would not have had such a field day without the good play by the OLine.... great efforts all the way around.

There is no I in team dummy, you obviously never played organized sports, everybody has their ROLE!

I said as much. Richardson is not a starting RB in this offense the way it is assembled. The oline is not that great, you have to have a RB with some wiggle. Dom doesn't have any wiggle to make things happen. Now you get him in the open field on the screen passes and he gets going he is a hammer. He loves contact, there is a place for those type of players. This offense just needs that extra gear in the backfield.

Richardson is THE ONLY back with the frame to be an every down back, Nixon is tiny. Gordon is getting close, but he's still a freshman. I was really hoping that we might see what Jackson can offer, but he must not be ready yet either.

Whether Richardson is the best RB is certainly being debated by the fans, but clearly he is the best option currently. I hope he is okay.

We should get our center back this week, which will help with the OLine.

The more games played, the better the OLine keeps getting. They're good enough to take on any DLines remaiing on our schedule, that's for sure.

Kstate Dline will give them the biggest fits than anyone since BU. Kstate is very athletic and quick. The kansas D is also solid with the 350lb NT. They have to have the game of their life next week.

and the whole Ollie thing about he is a freshman thing is really old. Players today are not like they were even 10yrs ago. The kid is 215lbs. You could see the legs and the difference making ability on the TD drive to take the lead in the 4th. Could have been just fresh legs, i think we have seen it enough to know he is gonna be a stud. Im just saying don't give Dom the ball 20x a game. Split them more. In goal line and short yardage comes in Doms time to shine.

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha, yeah Mr. Ed this horrid offense with no line and substandard backs and a damaged QB are only averaging 460 plus yards game and put 535 total yards on the second rated defense in the league Saturday! A horse is a horse of course right Mr. Ed!

Hard fought comeback win by the Pokes. Lots of new names contributed. Very proud of the team. They showed some guts.

Texas is a 7-5 team they haven't played anyone yet. Texas is not good at all. If they had a QB that could throw the ball at all they would have won by 3 scores on Saturday. It was a good win by the boys to claw back into that game. If Sark would have ran the ball at all in the 3rd this would have been a different outcome. Bijan was destroying the defense.

Instead of bloviating here, why don't you go over to the story about the Mike Gundy Press Conference and thank Master Sergeant Plumlee, the Medal of Honor recipient that you see in the picture from that story, who accompanied the team on the walk and did Orange Power chant before the game and thank him for his service to our Great Country!

That OU offense is the best in the Big XII when healthy. They have more talent than anyone else. They just came off the bye and probably win out.

naw... you must have missed the part where freshmen fumble and cost you games.... Ollie fumbled in one of his early outings, and he's just now getting the confidence of the coaches back.

he'll be a good one, but like I said, he's a freshman.... he's still learning

I understand that, he is also a game changing player. I get it though. As long as he keeps getting his touches. I just dont think Dom is a 20+ touch back with the way our oline is. the twitchy backs that are fleet of foot are better at those up the middle plays in some situations.

here is the picture that tells the whole story, IMO.

Only Richardson looks like he's ready to go..

4 (Jackson) needs the ball. has spent 2 years at an SEC program and now spring with OSU. I dont know if he just doesn't practice well or what. Saw him this spring and he looked great when he got the ball. The different pace is what we need. What we have been trying in the running game this season just hasnt worked out. The second half when Dom went out was telling IMO.

"He can run with some power and he can make some guys miss," Gundy said of Jackson. He is not a Keith Toston because he can make guys miss. He is in the ballpark of Vernand Morency. He is kind of like Seymore Shaw when he was healthy,"

Hey Mr. Ed you must have Joe Biden memory issues! Jackson didn't come to OSU until this past JUNE! HE wasn't here last Spring!
