Christian Holmes to Return for 2021 Season
STILLWATER – Another Oklahoma State defender has announced he’ll be returning for the 2021 season. Corner Christian Holmes took to Twitter Thursday afternoon to announc he’ll be back for the Pokes next season.
“First, I want to thank and give honor to God for blessing me with these amazing opportunities that are endless. I also want to thank everyone with being patient and supporting me during my journey, I appreciate each and everyone one of you guys. These last 2 monthsI have been outweighing all my options and have thought hard about the many great scenarios I have been dealt. I am bless to have another opportunity to prove myself. With more opportunities come more blessings, and I have decided I have unfinished business in college football! I will be ocming back for one more season in 2021 - Christian Holmes

You’ll notice that if you click our projected depth chart link above, you’ll see we had Holmes in the three-deep nearly two weeks ago.
Holmes was a starting senior cornerback for the Pokes, opposite Rodarius Williams, this past season. He recorded 24 total tackles, 18 of which were solo stops, three tackles for loss and six pass break-ups.
Holmes coming back gives the Pokes and Tim Duffie a huge boost going into the offseason and spring football. It will certainly help ease the blow of Rodarius Williams heading to the NFL.
