STILLWATER – Oklahoma State redshirt senior defensive end Brock Martin will get to play in one extra college football game this year as he’s accepted an invitation to play in the 2023 Hula Bowl in Orlando, FL.

Martin is a six-year super senior due to his COVID year of eligibility. He’s a player who’s consistently gotten better every year he’s played in Stillwater. He’s currently sitting at 35 total tackles in 10 games this season, 24 of which have been solo stops. He’s also recorded 8.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, eight quarterback hurries, one pass break up and one forced fumble.

This past season as a redshirt senior, Martin had his best season as he was tabbed First Team All-Big 12 by the league’s coaches, Second Team All-Big 12 by the AP and Honorable Mention Big 12 Defensive Lineman of the Year.

He played in 13 of the 14 games the Cowboys played in 2021, recording 41 total tackles, most on the defensive line, 21 of which were solo stops. He also recorded 14.0 tackles for loss, 9.0 sacks, seven quarterback hurries and one fumble recovery.

Former OSU defensive lineman Mike Scott and center Johnny Wilson played in the Hula Bowl in 2020, and current Washington Commanders corner Christian Holmes played in the 2022 Hula Bowl.
