Braun is a Portal Leg Up on Improving the Offensive Line

STILLWATER – I did a deep dive into video on Joshua Braun of Florida looking at video from his playing time for the Gators which included seven starts in 2021 and action in all 13 games and playing in 11 games as a freshman. I went back and watched his playing at Live Oak (Suwannee), Fla. when he earned a four-star recruiting ranking and was ranked as one of the top offensive linemen in the country.

I watch the games so I definitely know what I'll believe. Line is a reshuffled mess forever and a day.
prove it. Aside from injury, where is the "reshuffling"?

(replacing departed players is NOT reshuffling)

you make the same allegations over and over and over, but never provide any facts or examples

Cali I'm not gonna go through the roster for the last 10 years. It's out there for everyone to see man. I been watching every game since around the time Gundy took over. Wickline days were the best days. Then we had Connelly and adkins and Henson for a short time now Dickey. Our lines have struggled ever since wickline left. Some years a little better than others but mostly not good. Every single off-season is a new o line narrative and every season we still struggle. Yes guys get hurt but also we show no depth every year. We lost the big 12 championship because we can't block a soul. We had to go turbo speed to come back against notre dame to come back because their d line was chewing our line up. Gundy said it himself we had to play fast to tire them out because could handle their physicality. Then we saw that and that was the game plan for this season to play fast again on offense. For awhile it work but our line crumbled again and our lack of depth showed again. We proceeded to lose to k state 48-0 then an ass to Kansas then barely squeaked by Iowa state before ou stomped us. A terrible ou team made our line look pitiful. How did you watch any of it and think man our line sure looks good? Lol come on man why are you defending something that everyone can see is bad? Literally since the bedlam game the osu fan base came out in droves yelling about how bad our line is and everyone and their mom is calling for dickeys head. Robert Allen said after that the line needs attention. Zac in the live forum during bedlam said the line was terrible. WE ALL SEE IT. Lastly cali I'll point out I could go dig for stats to prove to you how bad our line is and I have befor but you just shoot it all down and say stats are for fools. It won't matter what I show you. You will argue about it. Our line is not good man and even our coach says after almost every game. Hard to throw a pass when we don't protect the qb. Whose job is it again to protect the qb? Whose job is it to open holes for the run game? Come on man get your head out of your ass. Guess that is hard to do when you are holding roberts balls for him at the same time

Also I'll shoot you the same challenge. Go hunt down some stats that show how good our line is. You put your money where your mouth is. How good is this line actually?

Stats related to o line play.
1. Sacks allowed- 22. 65th in the country likely worse is sanders wasn't such a great runner.
2. Rushing offense- 1400 yards in 11 games. 3.43 yards per carry 127 yards per game. 100th in the country. Pretty certain much worse since after the Texas game.

3.tackles for loss allowed- 98th in the country. Means opposing teams live in our backfield. O line issue.
4. Time of possession- 108th in the country. We can't block the run we can't protect the qb. Give up a sack or tackle for loss and we go three and out more than almost any other team. So our time of possession is terrible. Good online play allows an offense to move the ball forward to keep the defense off the field. We don't have this luxury.

Now you give me the stats that show our o line as a strength.

I figured... all blow and no go.

says a lot, can't back any of it up.

I'm just asking you to provide any empirical evidence of anything that you claim, but you never do, because you can't, because it's all lies and innuendo.

Our OLine is INJURED..... I never said this OLine was a strength of this team, but it was much better before we lost so many to injury and had to keep moving guys around.

QB and RB are weaker positions than OLine anyway. We have nothing at QB when Sanders is out, and we have nothing at RB when Dom is out, and not much with him in. Gordon finally had a good game to end the season, because we were forced to run, and Jackson has improved as well, now that he is allowed to play games.... but it was way to little and way to late.

From what I can tell, most of our problems are with play design and play calling. We need the FB and TE to participate more in blocking, we need more pulling from the guards to add umpfh to the point of attack, we need to put guys in motion to confuse the LBs and add bodies to the point of attack... these are all things that I watched other successful rushing teams do all season.

no... you gave me SOME stats from THIS season, which was not the discussion.

We already know about this season, and Brooks was out again for this game to add onto it.

please try to follow along.

naw..... you made the wild accusation, you back it up.

This year the line was injured and makeshift due to trying to find replacements after a couple from last year left unexpectedly.

Last year we were playing for the Conf Championship .... nuff said.
