Pioneers Celebrate a Special Championship, JaKobe Sanders Looks Back and Ahead

EDMOND – The crowd on the field, a mixture of Stillwater Pioneers players, their coaches, school administrators, students, kids dreaming of wearing the blue and gold uniforms and helmets didn’t want to leave. Just two days earlier at a funeral in Stillwater many of these same people said good-bye to teacher and girls basketball coach Kendra Kilpatrick, who at 36-years-old had lost her fight against breast cancer.
