Oklahoma State Extends PWO Offer to In-State Standout Kirk Francis
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State has extended a preferred walk-on offer to Metro Christian standout quarterback, Kirk Francis.
He currently holds offers from UCO, Drake, East Central, Fort Hays State, Houston Christian, Missouri Southern and Southeast Missouri State.
He also holds a PWO offer from Memphis, which was extended on Christmas Day.
Kirk Francis checks in at 6-2, 185-pounds, and is coming off an incredible senior season for the Patriots.
In 14 games this past fall, Francis completed 285-of-408 passing, 70% of his passes, for 4,384 yards and an insane 58 touchdowns to just six interceptions. He also picked up 159 yards and two touchdowns on 54 carries.
Francis helped lead the Patriots to an impressive 14-1 overall record and a perfect 7-0 in 3A-District 1 play and a berth in the 3A state championship. Francis’ performance in the title game against Heritage Hall, an unfortunate 72-56 loss, is said by several journalists across the state to be one of, if not the best performance they’ve seen from a high school football player. Francis went 38-of-63 for 626 yards, with five touchdowns and two interceptions. A game people aren’t likely to forget about.
While this isn’t a scholarship offer, this would be a very good pick up for Tim Rattay and the Cowboys should Francis decide to play his college ball in Stillwater with the Pokes.
