Oklahoma State Lands Commitment From 2023 Four-Star Forward Eric Dailey
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State’s 2023 class just got even better as four-star forward, Eric Dailey Jr. announced his commitment to Mike Boynton and Co. and the Pokes.
Dailey checks in at 6-7, 215 pounds, and is out of IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL. He chose the Pokes over Memphis and going the pro route, but he held offers from Florida State, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, TCU and Texas A&M among others.
Dailey adds to the already loaded 2023 class of top-50 prospect Brandon Garrison, four-star forward Justin McBride, top-150 guard Jamyron Keller and in-state standout forward Connor Dow.
There’s a lot of familiarity with the 2023 class for the Pokes as both Dailey Jr. and Garrison helped USA Basketball to the gold medal in the 2022 FIBA U19 Americas Championship, a team Mike Boynton was an on-court assistant four.
However, Dailey’s also won gold with the USA in the 2021 FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup, as well as the 2021 FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup dunk contest.
In the six games this summer with USA Basketball, Dailey averaged 9.5 points on 42% shooting from the field in 18.2 minutes per game.
Dailey checks in as the No. 57 overall prospect in the 2023 class according to On3’s consensus rankings.
