Oklahoma State Gets First 2024 Commitment in Hometown TE Josh Ford
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State just landed its first commitment of the 2024 class in Stillwater (OK) HS tight end, Josh Ford.
Oklahoma State was the first D1 offer for Ford, as they extended an offer back in early December.
Ford checks in a 6-5, 235 pounds and is coming off a productive season this past fall for the Pioneers, who won their first state title since 1967. Ford hauled in 17 receptions for 132 yards and three touchdowns, as well as 9 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, one sack, two fumble recoveries and one forced fumble.
He made his biggest impact as a junior as one of the primary blockers on the edge for an explosive run game in which the Pioneers rushed for nearly 1,900 yards. Through the air, the Pioneers threw for just over 2,100 yards.
Just down the road from Boone Pickens Stadium and the West End Zone, Stillwater has sent several players to Oklahoma State, with quarterback Gunnar Gundy, cowboy back Luke McEndoo, LB Gabe Brown, S Eli Williams, LB Chance Clements, S Carter Barnard, S Garrick Martin, LS Osker Ehrlich and DE Brayden Burke, all joining the past few years.
