NFL Bound Cowboys Report Combine Invitations
The NFL pre draft process has begun now that all underclassmen have seen the declaration deadline come and go and most seniors have announced whether they will declare or utilize the extra year provided by the COVID-19 rules.
Oklahoma State only had a handful of players announce their intentions of leaving for the NFL and a trio of them have reported invitations to one of the most highly regarded events in sports.
The NFL Combine.
Tylan Wallace, Rodarius Williams, and Teven Jenkins were the three Cowboys to have reportd the invitations so far. Chuba Hubbard, Amen Ogbongbemiga, and Dillon Stoner are three more who could earn an invitation.
In the unfortunate spirit of COVID-19, the 2021 combine will be a bit different this year as it has been announced it will be held in a virtual manner. “No in-person workouts (pro days on campus instead), all virtual interviews and psychological testing, limited in-person medical exams,” reported NFL Networks Tom Pelissero.
According to Pro Football Focus (PFF), Tylan Wallace is ranked as the 9th best wide receiver in the 2021 draft class, Rodarius Williams is ranked as the 14th best cornerback, and Teven Jenkins is currently ranked as the 4th best tackle. It is no surprise that these three have earned invitations.
