Kip Lewis, Carthage 2022 Linebacker Taking His Time, Hoping to Make Visits

After the first two series back in December in the Texas Class 4A Division II State Championship Game, the season went into a tailspin the final three quarters for the Gilmer Buckeyes and a big reason was speedster and athletic Carthage linebacker Kip Lewis. Lewis had a lot to do, flying around and making tackles as after taking a 14-0 lead, Gilmer finished with just 81-yards of offense the rest of the game as Carthage won the title over their East Texas neighbor 70-14.
