Report: Bryan Nardo Contract Details Released
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State announced the hire of its new defensive coordinator back on January 24, Bryan Nardo. Nearly a month after the hire, the details of his contract have been announced.
According to Scott Wright of The Oklahoman, Nardo has signed a three-year contract to be the Pokes’ defensive coordinator, a contract worth $650,000 a year.

An interesting tidbit in Wright’s article is that both Joe Bob Clements and Tim Duffie, coaches who received promotions to co-defensive coordinator (Clements) and defensive passing game coordinator (Duffie) did not receive raises.
Clements is set to make $600,000 this season and Duffie $550,000, both of which are in the second year of two-year contracts.
Nardo, who comes to Oklahoma State from Gannon University in the same role, replaced former DC Derek Mason, who announced he’s stepping away from football on a temporary sabbatical. Mason, who came to Stillwater as the DC at Clemson, made $1.1 million in the lone year of his OSU contract.
Nardo was hired by Gannon in February 2022 after spending two seasons as the linebackers coach at Youngstown State and nine years as the defensive coordinator and linebackers coach at Emporia State.
