In Honor of the Cowboys NIT Win Join Us for Brackets on ESPN.com

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State survived and advanced in the NIT on Wednesday night. It was nice that former OU head football coach Bob Stoops could contribute with a motivational message for the losing Penguins of Youngstown State. Stoops told him he knew how to beat Oklahoma State and he mostly did but he also got beat a couple of times. Remember to alway punt it again, Bob.

Hey a little fun there but even without Oklahoma State (and Oklahoma) in the NCAA we encourage you to fill out your brackets on ESPN.com and then join our group PokesReport.com.

https://fantasy.espn.com/tournament-challenge-bracket/2023/en/group?groupID=4230270

For the winning bracket I promise the choice of an Oklahoma State polo or jersey from The End Zone in Stillwater. Get your bracket in before the tournament begins.

Dang. I wish I would have seen this thread this morning, I was asking the other day if there was going to be a group to join. I went ahead and created a bracket on CBS.

ah well, Furman would have thrown me for a mini-bracket buster anyway.

good luck Poke fans who got their bracket in.

good gosh, I just went to see who was leading after Thursday, and some yahoo made about 50 enteries... the whole thing looks like a complete joke.

what was he thinking? "Duh... I'm not very good, so I'll just pick every combination"? That's just sad.

Bump..

What a crazy tournament and season... hopefully this is the product of portal transfers and we'll continue to see such unpredictable results.

no #1 teams remain
SEC, B1G and Pac12 are all eliminated. Big12 has 2 and ACC has one, and UT/Mia play each other next.

Big East has 2 of the eight teams remaining.

These results seem to suggest that the Poll rankings, the SOS, and Quad analytics are all just a bunch of hooey, designed to keep the "favorite" teams near the top. Clearly we were not even good enough to beat a freaking North Texas team, from whatever conference that they're in.

Anyway..... CGOSU has worked his way to the top of the contest followed closely by Brian Murphy.
(I tossed out the bracket stuffers BG and Go Pokes, since that is hardly in the spirit of this contest, to arrive at the two leaders listed)
