Both Wallace and Williams Sit Out Practice, Doubtful for the Game
Both of the Oklahoma State players at this year’s Reese’s Senior Bowl look like they will miss the game on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. on the NFL Network. It is disappointing but Cowboys All-American wide receiver Tylan Wallace joined second-team All-Big 12 cornerback Rodarius Williams on the sidelines at Hancock Whitney Stadium during the National team practice.
In fact, it was an injury epidemic for the National wide receivers as speedy D’Wayne Eskridge of Western Michigan, Notre Dame’s Bob Skowronek, and Wake Forest receiver Sage Surratt all sat out the final practice session. Skowronek was on crutches. The others, including Wallace, were in warm-ups and were moving around.

“It is really not much, just a little twinge to the hamstring,” a source close to Tylan Wallace told Pokes Report. “If this wasn’t all hyped up and the pressure of showcasing for the NFL scouts and coaches then it wouldn’t be as much of an issue. There are more workouts to come like the virtual combine workout.”
The source said it was doubtful that Wallace would play in the game.
“I think he is through for the week other than meetings and interviews,” the source added.
One NFL Scout who remained anonymous said Wallace did plenty.
“He did very well for himself on Tuesday and was one of, if not the best receiver out there,” he said. “His ball skills were almost perfect. He ran good routes, knew what he was doing. He didn’t do as much on Wednesday but reinforced what was seen on Tuesday.”

Williams worked out Tuesday but was in warm-ups both Wednesday and Thursday and would seemingly be doubtful to play in the game on Saturday. He has stayed for the meetings and interviews and to pick up on learning what the Miami Dolphins staff has been teaching the players on the National team.
Overall, you hate to see it, but Wallace had a very strong practice on Tuesday and a good one on Wednesday and Williams did get to showcase his abilities on Tuesday. Both players are expected to participate and were invited to the virtual combine which will supposedly be part of the Oklahoma State Pro Day on campus in Stillwater.
