Here's Another List Confirming Oklahoma State Football Prowess from the Past Decade

STILLWATER – Just another list in college football list season that always permeates after the end of the season and especially kicks into high gear at the end of a decade. We came through with the Big 12 win totals and even how much money each Big 12 school spent in their football budget during the decade by average and computed the average cost per win. Hey, at Pokes Report we get a little extreme with lists, but this one from Sports Pac 12 (@SportsPac12) is very illuminating. By the way I looked and only Oregon and Stanford had more wins in football in the past 10-years as Oklahoma State, who was second in the Big 12 to Oklahoma. 

You can see above that Oklahoma State was eighth in the decade in wins over ranked teams. That includes the 37-34 win over No. 18 Miami, Fla. in the Cheez-It Bowl, but in the past season that also includes the win over then No. 17 Iowa State.

Among the very best highlights in the past decade are 2011 wins over No. 8 Texas A&M, No. 13 Oklahoma, and No. 4 Stanford. In 2013 there were wins over No. 15 Texas Tech and No. 3 Baylor. In 2014 a win over No. 16 Oklahoma. In 2015 the Cowboys beat No. 5 TCU inside Boone Pickens Stadium. In 2016 there was a homecoming win over No. 10 West Virginia and a bowl win over No. 11 Colorado. In 2018 the Pokes beat No. 6 Texas and No.. 7 Wezt Virginia. 

Another sign that Oklahoma State has firmly entrenched their program among the top football programs in college football.
