Re-Release: Our 2021 Oklahoma State Football Depth Chart has Not Changed
STILLWATER – I’ve noticed the past few days that some sources are just coming out with their look at Oklahoma State football and the depth chart projection for next season. Rather than doing another version we just have a link to our original. The reason is that it hasn’t changed. We projected quite accurately which Oklahoma State players would stay and which would go.
The only ediit that we ever applied to his story was when junior safety Kolby Harvell-Peel initially said he was declaring for the NFL Draft. However, as the deadline came up, Harvell-Peel changed his mind and said he was staying for his senior season this fall at OSU. We simply changed our depth chart back to it’s original status.
We have LD Brown listed tops on the depth chart at running back and we have confirmed that he is enrolled in school, attending classes, and working out int he offseason program with football.
Now, Brown is a senior and he did not have a deadline with the NFL. These super seniors created by the NCAA stopping the eligibility clock on all players during the recently completed COVID-19 season is a different situation. Most that are staying have informed the NFL that they are doing so and don’t wish to be drafted. Brown has not made any declaration. He could still go to the NFL, but we believe he is at 90 percent or more to play for the Pokes this upcoming season.
The changes in the depth chart will now come where they should come from. They will come from competition in spring football and all the way into next season.
