Spring Football Review: Incoming Tight Ends Prove the Portal has Helped Pokes

STILLWATER – Just a quick note as we move on in our spring football review and on May 1 the spring transfer protal window is closed  Oklahoma State lost one player we know of in offensive tackle Caleb Etienne. He went into the portal the day it opened on Saturday, April 15. That day at practice Cole Birmingham took over at left tackle in practice and the offense looked better.

Hopefully the staff has plans in place to mix things up and not only throw when Johnson is in the game at TE. If Edenfield is only in to run block, that's a pretty obvious tell for the defense to key on.

I will be thrilled if and when a TE catches at least three passes in one game and makes a D backfield (and future D backfields) respect another receiving position on our offense. And obviously I get it and I'm all in that this hopefully helps our running game substantially.
