No. 6 Oklahoma State Hosting Fourth-Straight NCAA Stillwater Regional

STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State Cowgirls (41-14 overall, 10-8 Big 12) are hosting their fourth-straight NCAA Regional in Stillwater, this time as the No. 6 overall seed.

They’ll play UMBC on Friday, May 19, with first pitch taking place at 3 p.m. CT on ESPN+.

The other side of the bracket will feature Wichita State (43-10) and Nebraska (34-20) facing off at 6 p.m. CT on ESPNU. Being a top-eight seed, the Cowgirls would host a Super Regional should they advance out of the Stillwater Regional.

This also marks the Cowgirls’ seventh-straight appearance in the NCAA tournament.

Tickets will go on sale on Tuesday, May 16 at 12 p.m. According to the Athletic Department email, pre-sale all-session tickets will be reserved for reserved seats and the right field general admission bleacher seats. Pricing for seats is $80 for black chairbacks, $65 for orange chairbacks and general admission right field bleachers and corrals.

Single session tickets will be available for sell one hour prior to first pitch of each game. Pricing for single session games will be $15 for reserved seats and general admission. Standing room only will be $10.

The Cowgirls are 41-14 overall on the season, but have really struggled the past few weeks as they’re now 10-8 in Big 12 play as they’ve gone 2-11 in the past 13 games. They’ll have had a week off from their 8-7 loss to Kansas in the opening round of the Big 12 tournament, hoping that’s been enough time to try and turn things around.

They rolled their way through last year’s Stillwater Regional having won all three games against Fordham, Nebraska and North Texas to face Clemson, winning two-straight against them in the Stillwater Super Regional to make it to Oklahoma City.
