Report: NC State's Isaiah Miranda Player to Watch Out of Portal
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State is still looking to fill two scholarship spots heading into the 2023-24 season and according to a report from Jeff Goodman, Mike Boynton and Co. could be in the mix for NC State big man, Isaiah Miranda.
Miranda is originally out of the 2023 class, graduated in December and joined the Wolfpack midseason. However, he didn’t play a single minute and opted to enter the transfer portal back on May 8 and declared for the NBA Draft.
The deadline to withdraw your name from the Draft process and still retain eligibility to return to school is Wednesday, May 31. According to Goodman’s report, the Cowboys are one of five schools Miranda could choose from should he withdraw his name.
Miranda was a top-50 national prospect in the 2023 class and is a 7-0, 200-pound big man with a 7-4 wingspan and a 9-4 standing reach. Even though he didn’t play this past spring, he’s still got a ton of potential at the collegiate level and would be a very solid addition for Boynton and Co. as the Pokes still lack size down low.
