Predicting Oklahoma State Basketball's Starting Lineup in 2023-24

yeah.... that's probably as good of a guess as any at this point, although I might be tempted to put in a shooter at freshman rather than a big man. It should be a shuffle inside anyway, so who starts is likely not significant.

I'm gonna wait until after the August trip to Spain to try and guess what we have to work with.

I think Hicklen (big scorer) and Marsh (has some meat) will have more of an immediate impact than any Freshmen... even relative rookie Miranda may get more early PT underneath due to his defensive play around the rim.

You could be right about Garrison not playing as much because of Miranda and Marsh, but I can promise you that Eric Dailey Jr. is definitely a starter. He played a prep year so he's more experienced than the other freshman and he basically has an NBA body already. He needs to be a top 3 scorer on this team for us to be good and I expect that from him. I think there will be a lot of times that Dailey is on the court with 2 of our bigs because he's basically a big guard.

I'm just blind guessing at this point.

We lost our #4 position players (Newton, Smith) so it is likely that Daily will get significant PT at that position, and even start.

That would be a fairly small starting line-up, but he's one of the few with any size that we can put at the #3 or 4 spot.
