Oklahoma State Offers 2024 DL Armstrong Nnodim After Standout Camp Performance
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State has offered its first prospect from the on-campus Down and Dirty Camp on Tuesday. Armstrong Nnodim, a defensive lineman out of Horn HS in Mesquite, TX, took to Twitter Wednesday afternoon to report the offer.
Nnodim told Pokes Report on Wednesday that he checks in at 6-2, 260 pounds. He’s been committed to Rice since February and currently holds offers from Arkansas State, Austin Peay, Buffalo, Louisiana Tech, Memphis and UTSA among others.
Oklahoma State is his first P5 offer, but I’m surprised it took this long based on how he performed during his junior season. He finished the 2022 season with 69 total tackles, 46 of which were solo stops, an insane 16 sacks, 24 quarterback pressures, 20 tackles for loss, two forced fumbles, two pick-six interceptions and a blocked field goal to boot.
While those numbers are rather impressive, the OSU offers comes after his performance here on Campus on Tuesday. The coaching staff loved what they saw and felt he could make an impact at Oklahoma State. You can look at tape and numbers all you want but seeing a guy perform in person makes a difference.
I would also expect other P5 schools to start jumping in before too long.
