Day One: Mike Gundy Talks Running Backs and Development for 2023 Season

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy wants to run the ball better. Gundy is the quarterback that on several ocassions had to make the decision whether to hand it to Barry Sanders or Thurman Thomas. No surprise he aches to run the football. As an offensive coordinator and a head coach calling his own plays, Gundy had rushing averages per game of 217.7, 237, 208, 245.5, and 245.4-yards per game. As recent as recent s 2019 the Cowboys averaged 229.6-yards rushing per game.
