ATHENS, Greece – For the second consecutive contest, Oklahoma State's women's basketball team eclipsed the 100-point mark, logging a 123-53 victory over the Bosnia A All-Stars on Wednesday inside Proteas Boylas Arena. This team from Bosnia was expected to be the most contentious on the trip, but proved to be the largest margin of victory.
It appears from the 3-0 record and level of domination on the trip that Jacie Hoyt has regrouped the Oklahoma State program through the portal and has an even more athletic group than she did a season ago.
Four Cowgirls scored in double figures with Lior Garzon leading the way.
OSU's sharpshooter drilled 12-of-her-14 3-point attempts on her way to a game-high 38 points. She also had 7 rebounds, 2 assists, and a steal.
In the first, OSU scored 11 of the game's first 15 points, including a pair of treys from Garzon. She would go on to hit three of her four attempts beyond the arc to stake the Cowgirls to a 24-11 lead.
Garzon then hit both of her attempts in the second quarter to finish the half with 15 points. Quincy Noble added 10 first-half points as well.
The Cowgirls finished the quarter with 30 points to lead, 54-24, at the break.
OSU used a 15-0 run, including consecutive Garzon 3-pointers, on its way to winning the third by a 36-9 count to build a 90-33 lead heading into the final 10 minutes.
Garzon would once again drill consecutive 3-pointers in the fourth and her layup with six minutes remaining sent OSU over the century mark.
Noble finished with 18 points, while Stailee Heard added 16 of her own and a double-double with 13 rebounds. Heard has been devastating inside on the trip. Hannah Gusters chipped in with 13 points and 9 rebounds Anna Gret-Asi had 8 points and an impressive 12 assists.
