Oklahoma State Offers 2025 QB Prospect Shaker Reisig, He's Balling Out this Season
STILLWATER – Tulsa Union High School quarterback Shaker Reisig has started theseason on fire and Union is 2-0 already fresh off a win over nearby rival Broken Arrow 27-14 heading into a showdown with rival Jenks. Reisig was 27-of-35 for 313-yards and four touchdowns in the win over Broken Arrow. The week before in the opener he completed 28-of-35 passing for 357-yards and five touchdown passes. He also had a rushing touchdown. Reisig is balling in midseason form. Now, Oklahoma State and head coach Mike Gundy, offensive coordinator Kasey Dunn, and quarterbacks coach Tim Rattay have offered a scholarship.
My good friend at The Tulsa World Bill Haisten was wondering when that would happen. Reisig has worked with Rattay before at Oklahoma State camps and he has flourished there, just like he has anywhere. He quarterbacked Jenks before moving to Union. Reisig can flat out get it done. He is 6-0, 200-pounds, which some like their quarterbacks taller, with Reisig and his talents it doesn’t matter.
Last season he was 185-of-252 for 2,656-yards with a sterling 27 touchdowns to just three interceptions, a 9-to-1 touchdown to interception ratio!
I’ve seen him in action and he is a quarterback that has complete control, lots of poise, and can mentally and physically attack his role.
He has offers from Utah, Minnesota, Illinois, Memphis, Missouri, San Jose State, and Tulsa. I know Reisig and his family were looking for the one from Oklahoma State. Hopefully, it will be the one they accept. This young quarterback is fun to watch and wins a lot.
