Watch: Mike Gundy Discusses 27-15 Win Over Arizona State
Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy met with the media following the Cowboys’ 27-15 road win over Arizona State.
The win gave the Pokes their ninth-straight non-conference road win, as well as moved the Pokes to 2-0 on the season.
“Obviously, we played better in the second half; made a few adjustments defensively that really helped us,” said head coach Mike Gundy. “We got beat once down the middle, got out of coverage. Overall, defensively, I thought we played pretty good. We missed some tackles again in the first quarter; did that last week, did it again this week. Tackled better as the game went on. Ultimately, we’re going to have to tackle good throughout the game. Offensively, couldn’t rush the ball again in the first half. Came back and made some adjustments in our schemes and ran the ball better. I know at halftime we didn’t have any yards. We ended up with 113; not quite four yards a carry, so we’ve still got a ways to go there.”
