STILLWATER – No major surprise here. Oklahoma State’s season thus far has been underachieving and performance needs to improve. Toward that end Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy and the staff practiced Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with the team getting Friday and Saturday off before returning on Sunday as that is a Monday based on the Friday night game with Kansas State.

I will call it reality instead of underachieving, this team is simply not good; there is not spark at all, the offense play calling is plain vanilla (very predictable). On defense clearly Nardo needs a lot more time to get the defense clicking too many mistakes and busted coverages.
They do have some great talent at several positions but average team as a whole. It is time for a reality check, best we can hope for is a 6-6 and a bowl bid, but my prediction is a 5-7 loosing season, so far I have not seen anything that points to a different outcome. I am approaching every game as we will see… but certainly I do not have any great expectations for this season therefore no disappointment. My hope is that the kids can deal with adversity (specially the freshman players) and sick around for next year instead of jumping in the portal.

Thanks for the insight on practice this week.

Starting Bowman is simply setting up another QB competition for next year with nothing learned and no progress made. He's a one and done and I guarantee you next Spring it's going to be the exact same drama all over again. If Gunnar or Rangel got the nod for the rest of this year, there's no drama to be had next year unless the kid Flores steps up, or hits the portal and goes back home to Matt Rhule, which I'd say is likely.

it also may simply be setting us up for a 6-7 win season... so there's that.

I guarantee you if we get to another bowl game, next Spring nobody is going to care if we're still looking for a starting QB, who might even come to us through the portal...

for gosh sakes man, let's worry about next year's problems, next year, not now.

We need to deal with this year's problems right now, which is winning games.

What does Bowman show better on than Rangel or Gundy: reads, speed of reads, misdirection, accuracy, deep balls, mobility, running ability?

Just like your average run of the mill troll you have shown a complete lack of creativity. Pointing out two misspelled words is so lame. If you are to troll you must do better! #zerogame

maybe most of those to some extent over one or the other.

Both of the other guys started games last year, and I don't believe either of them produced the offense that we saw against defensive ISU.

It's not me making the call, it is the Coaches. You should be directing that question to the coaches, not to me.

With two weeks more to practice, and evaluation of the last game by the coaches, we'll find out if they think that Bowman gives us the best chance to win.

(remember my choice was Gunnar, and still is)
