STILLWATER – The other day on my radio show I was asked by a good Oklahoma Stata football fan and longtime season ticket holder what he could do about this feeling that he now has on game days. He doesn’t look forward to the games and going as much as he used to. He told me, “I’m still going to go, but how can I change my feelings. I know it has to do with not winning as many games.”

First, I told him that it’s a long season and that this team is 2-2.

A win here could turn our season around. A lopsided loss could produce a downward spiral for the rest of the year. I expect us to make a competitive, one-possession game out of this. This should enable us to have some realistic hope for remaining games. I believe Coach Gundy has enough pride, passion and smarts to figure it out.

Those are some great matchups, I believe we have the advantage there. We definitely have a 1-2-3 punch with Daniels, Martin & Oliver. The leaders in tackles on the team. It will be good to see some check marks on the to-do list. Play with fire and passion on Friday!! Go Pokes!

Man RA, you have a lot of faith. Faith is believing in something when there is no proof it can happen or exist. Especially after seeing OSU lose to USA (really bad team) and ISU (another really bad team).

I love how the replies stopped after the kickoff and there were none after the game was over.

in all "fairness' why would he NOT pick OSU all season... seems as if RA was correct, just a little be delayed.

confidence in his pick or not, many fans believed that the team could and can turn it around, only the haters were the doubters.
