Watch: Mike Gundy Talks 45-13 Homecoming Win Over Cincinnati
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy met with the media following the Cowboys 45-13 Homecoming drubbing of Cincinnati.
With the win, the Cowboys became bowl eligible for the 18th-straight season as they moved to 6-2 on the season and 4-1 in Big 12 play.
“That was a good game for us, a great environment,” Mike Gundy said after the game. “Offensively and defensively, we made really good adjustments at halftime. I was pleased with our coaching in this game; I thought our plans at halftime were OK, not great. Then we made adjustments on both sides of the ball. Really, really good adjustments by both staffs and it worked well for us in the second half. We were able to pick up and rush the ball a little bit.”
Ollie Gordon II once again led the way for the Pokes as he rushed for 271 yards and two touchdowns, getting him over the 1,000-yard mark for the season with four games remaining.
