"with the advent of gap scheme runs like counter, pin and pull, power, and iso. The guards and tackles are involved but so are the fullback"

We should have done this when we had Illingworth.... that dual-threat stuff just doesn't work well for the Pokes. We always do better with a pocket passer and a strong RB with blockers leading the way.

Heck, Sanders is our 2nd leading passer in history, we could have done it with him too. Sanders could have played in the pocket easily.

Rank Player Yards
1 Mason Rudolph 13,618
2 Spencer Sanders 9,553
3 Brandon Weeden 9,260
4 Mike Gundy 8,473
