Oklahoma State's Game Against Baylor Has Been Postponed
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State’s game against Baylor on Saturday, February 20 has been postponed, according to a release sent out by the Big 12 Conference.
The official Baylor Athletics site states the game is being postponed due to the Big 12 Conference men’s basketball interruption guidelines. The Bears have had to postpone six consecutive games, TCU on Feb. 6, Oklahoma on Feb. 10, Texas Tech on Feb. 13, West Virginia on Feb. 15 and 18 and Oklahoma State on Feb. 20.
The dates for a possible reschedule, according to the Baylor site, would be between Monday, March 1 and Sunday, March 7, though it also states not all of Baylor’s games will be rescheduled. So, it’s possible the Cowboys won’t be heading down to Waco by the end of the season.
The Cowboys also have a game to make up with West Virginia at some point between now and the end of the regular season, though it’s possible that game might not be made up as well.
Mike Boynton and Co. are preparing to take the court at 3 p.m. CT on Feb. 16 as they’re set to take on Iowa State in Gallagher-Iba Arena.
Following the game against the Cyclones, the Cowboys are entering one of the toughest portions of their schedule as they’ll face OU twice, once in Stillwater and once in Norman, host Texas Tech and then possibly play Baylor and West Virginia on the road at some point between now and the end of the regular season.
