Cowboys Down to One More Practice at Home, TE Portal Target, Two Portal Pokes Pledge

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State players and coaches put in the work on the practice field at the Sherman Smith Training Center for two hours and 20 minutes on Monday afternoon. The practice was the first since Friday as head coach Mike Gundy gave players off over the weekend for graduation, for Christmas shopping, even some of the players that live nearby were able to go home. The schedule for the week is practice again tomorrow and then a lift and workout on Wednesday.

I see we lost out on Sylvester of Utah Tech ( Kirkland old teammate) and I heard you say we were not close to getting Grimes of OU to commit here (Or thats what I think I heard). Where would that leave us on DE/EDGE players?

Do we have any new offers out there?

Seems to me we have about 10 WR's on board or coming in and haven't seen any related portal offers. But DL/DE's seem really thin IMO. And we weren't killing it last year (with Oliver only moving up to edge on part time basis.) Hoping we get the Webster guy at DE to replace Latu and Goodlow.

OSU also offered a DE from SMU … Dylan Frazier. And, Grimes is still uncommitted.

Grimes new offers are UNT and Texas State, feels he is not cut out for P5 level now.
