STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State softball team is projected to finish third in the Big 12 Conference by the league’s coaches, the conference announced today. The Cowgirls are coming off a 10-8 season in conference play, highlighted by series sweeps over Baylor and Kansas.

Liberty University Athletics
Two-time ASUN Player of the Year Caroline Wang from Liberty is a major addition for the Cowgirls.

OSU holds a 52-20 record in Big 12 conference play in the last four years, which trails only Oklahoma. In each of the last seven seasons, the Cowgirls haven’t finished lower than third in Big 12 standings.

Gajewski will use this poll as a motivator for his team. Oklahoma State is a team that is young with a talented freshman class and that has been added to through the transfer portal, which Kenny Gajewski and his staff have thoroughly embraced. Former Liberty catcher and two-time ASUN Player of the Year is a major addition for this season.

The Pokes open the season February 8 on the road at Cal State Northridge.
