STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State wrestling team cracked the top-three of the latest NWCA Coaches Poll at No. 3, the organization announced Tuesday. It marked the Cowboys' highest ranking since their No. 3 placement on January 31, 2022.
Last weekend, the Cowboys continued their perfect season with ranked victories over No. 22 Northern Iowa and No. 4 Iowa State, their second over a top-five opponent in the month of January. At 10-0, OSU is one of just three teams in the country still holding an undefeated record.
Oklahoma State is the Big 12's highest-ranked team, with No. 4 Iowa State and No. 5 Missouri close behind. The trio is joined by No. 11 South Dakota State, No. 17 West Virginia, No. 18 Northern Iowa and No. 22 Oklahoma to give the Big 12 seven total teams in the poll. The Cowboys boast a 5-0 record against conference foes.
Oklahoma State closes its homestand against No. 24 Arizona State on Friday, February 2, before making a quick trip up to Columbia, Mo., to face fifth-ranked Missouri just two days later. Friday's dual will air on Big 12 Now on ESPN+, while Sunday's action will be available for streaming on FloWrestling.
